6.30 am and Stewart and I are waiting for our child-minder.  She thought we were caring for sick Ella and has gone to work so there follows a breakfast discussion about who covers the kids and school run.  Ella’s well and off to school but we need to provision for her needing collecting if she feels sick. It’s always a juggling act but today’s schedule means I can do most of my calls and work from home except I may need to go to the National Youth Music Theatre Trustee meeting personally this evening.  Thankfully they agree I can do it over the phone.

In my haste to get the kids to school, I reverse off my drive and in to a neighbours van.

In my haste to get the kids to school, I reverse off my drive and in to a neighbours van.  Luckily it was only a small dink and there was limited damage.  According to the kids it was a big bump and they are planning to sue me for whiplash!

A day spent on the phone from home is a day that’s ergonomically challenging so I get a cricked neck for my troubles, although no sick child returning home from school early. I round off the day with an hour long conference call and a boot camp circuit session over on the local field for which effort I am rewarded with 8 gnat bites swollen to the size of trebor mints. So much for exercise being good for you, I feel dreadful. Which could be down to the gnat/bootcamp exertion or being too close to Ella’s germs for the last few days.  Really hoping I’m not coming down with what she has, Tonsillitis shouldn’t be that catching surely?
