Vacancy of the week: Trade Support Analyst- Trade Floor Support- Hedge Fund

Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of trade support analyst entails working closely with clients and members of the sales, trading, operations and technology teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and streamlining the day to day operations as well as managing the rollout and implementation of any new functionality that the business requires.
The individual must demonstrate impeccable organisational skills, take ownership of problems, work to determine the solutions, and follow through on the resolution.

Key job responsibilities include:

•,• Monitoring the trading systems throughout the day and responding to any issues
•,• Supporting the start and end of day processing
•,• On boarding of new clients
•,• Scripting of business / client reports
•,• Rolling out new software releases
•,• Managing the addition of new exchange and market data connections
•,• Improving system monitoring and automating support tasks
•,• Documenting the system architecture and support procedures
•,• Issue tracking and reporting

Qualifications :
•,• Proven track record in a Unix/Linux environment
•,• Previous experience working in the financial services industry. Knowledge of various financial products and trading platforms is needed
•,• Experienced with scripting languages such as shell, perl and python
•,• SQL and database knowledge
•,• Experience of working with FIX is a plus
•,• PHP / HTML skills advantageous
•,• Strong written and verbal communication skills
•,• Experience dealing with front office or other non technical users, demonstrable ability to also coordinate and work with application & infrastructure technology teams

Education:
* Bachelor degree or Higher
