Department Profile:

Institutional and Corporate Technology (ICT) is one of five divisions within Technology & Data. We face off to the business and support services to develop and oversee the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets, Operations, Finance, and Legal & Compliance. We are responsible for Pioneer and Application Infrastructure, groups that look to develop foundational strategies, tools and technologies that are leveraged across Tech & Data, as well as standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firm’s businesses.

Team Profile:

This role is for a Project Manager / Business Analyst within the CS Development team. This team is responsible for the project deployment and project management of Corporate Services projects globally, ranging from small scale ad-hoc requests to large scale implementations.

Primary Responsibilities:

The role is a hands-on position supporting the deployment of voice recording platforms.
The successful candidate will be expected to act as the primary interface, facilitator and owner of the assigned projects from a planning and implementation perspective.
The role involves all project phases including project initiation, implementation, and project handover / completion. The responsibilities for the role include (but are not limited to) the following:-

  • Proactively manage projects adhering to and ensuring best quality and delivery standards PLC & SDLC
  • Define / Analysis of requirements, and implementation of Global Cable Management System.
  • Act as prime customer interface for implementation. Own and manage project to agreed standards and timelines / schedules.
  • Coordinate necessary third parties (both internal and external) to ensure successful delivery of the projects
  • Provision of detailed handover documentation for the projects
    Assist where necessary or directed in support of the production environment.

Skills required (essential):

• Ability to define a project scope and objectives and to facilitate consensus across all relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Prior experience in managing and coordinating across teams to drive the project forward.
• Strong attention to detail – the ability create detailed project plans in MS Project that can be used to monitor / track daily progress
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
• Self-motivation is required
• Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks accurately and efficiently
• Strong MS Office skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio
• Strong MS Project skills – ability to create, baseline, and track project plans in MS Project

Desired Skills

• Basic understanding of Distributed environments and Relational Databases
• PMP and CISM (or CISSP) certifications are a plus
