Role Overview Capco are looking for a Project Manager within the Investment Banking and Securities Processing space, with change management experience and ideally prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution. This role offers the chance to advise and deliver change projects as part of a long-term strategic partnership with leading financial institutions. The nature of these roles offers long term deployments and the chance to experience varied regulatory change initiatives. The role is to work as a Project Manager in the Change Management space. Project Managers plan, mobilise and direct projects of varying complexity and scale from inception to closure. The role has a global focus and will entail collaborating with Business, Operations, Finance, Compliance, IT and other functions located primarily in Scotland, Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities Working with stakeholders across all business functions, including technology partners Driving and owning project planning, reporting, and management Own risk and issues management, including timely escalation to appropriate stakeholders Delivering changes through their lifecycle (including testing and managing change as it is rolled out) Providing reporting and analysis statistics of delivery during the lifecycle Providing analysis of service success by managing key service performance indicators Owning test planning and management Providing training and post implementation support Experience Experience of managing large and complex projects Experience in managing large teams of different work-streams Experience working with the full project lifecycle e.g. producing project work plan, scope, schedule, reports, and presentation of project results. A successful candidate can manage multiple small to large initiatives end to end through the project lifecycle Stakeholder Management – can discuss requests and requirements with stakeholders and keep them informed of progress Data Analysis and Interpretation – the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances and recommend proposals to senior management and key stakeholders Business Case Development – proven project and modelling skills, to represent information in forms that enhance decision making and communications Change Management Methodology – proven delivery experience working in a project environment with different methodologies (including Agile/Waterfall) Change Management Implementation – has extensive experience working in an investment banking change environment. User Acceptance Testing co-ordination, test planning and execution is important Microsoft Tools – competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio Industry Knowledge Knowledge of Financial Services and Capital Markets Front to back experience of investment banking change management 100% travel to client site may be required
