Senior Appointments: Director of Dealer Technology | City of London

*Providing technical expertise to assist clients on both the buy-side and sell-side to achieve their various trade execution and trade capture requirements.
*Assessing requests from client technical teams for changes and representing them to client development if required.

Key Responsibilities

*Develop relationships with key customer and dealer technology staff to gain insight into clients’ organisation and issues to assist clients development plans
*Engage with product developments and enhancements, specifically changes resulting from regulatory changes in the US and Europe in order to maximize chances of success
*Ensure clear communication to customers and dealers of new products, plus changes and enhancements to existing products.
*Protect and enhance clients franchise with customers, dealers and third party companies
*Work with our clients’ technologists, front office traders, middle and back office operations staff to develop solutions to problems that arise in trade execution and capture.

Essential experience for Director of Dealer Technology:

*Business analysis and technical expertise (understanding of networking, security, system development).
*An understanding of electronic trading/e-commerce from both a buy and sell side perspective.
*Comprehensive knowledge of Fixed Income and derivative instruments, trading and operations.
*Knowledge of a wide variety of functions within the operational environment including;

• oTrading of Fixed Income, Credit and Derivative instruments.
• oTrade Capture and Verification
• oInternational Security Settlements
• oClearing Houses
