ROUS ILAND is a private members’ fashion boutique for busy modern women.

Clare Rous & Kara Iland source exclusive clothing labels from Copenhagen to São Paulo, London to Sydney. Every piece in the collection is carefully cherry-picked for their members to offer an alternative to the mainstream – true style for all occasions: work, weekend, events and travel.
Members can try on clothes in the tranquillity of the private Mayfair showroom, open by appointment whenever convenient for them. With Clare & Kara on hand to offer personalised styling advice, members are at liberty to experiment with different cuts, colours and silhouettes to focus on building a wardrobe of investment pieces they love.

About Rous Iland

ROUS ILAND was founded in 2007 by Clare Rous & Kara Iland. The friends originally met as lawyers at city firm, Clifford Chance.

Like their colleagues, clients and friends – with little free time they were tired of last minute dashes to shops and trawling for clothes online. A members’ boutique to offer a carefully edited collection of interesting labels combined with a high level of personal service was their own dream solution.

Their contacts in the fashion industry combined with their previous experience in the city, Clare & Kara operate as the bridge between these two worlds – carefully selecting innovative contemporary design that is both flattering and wearable to ensure their members feel stylish every day of the week.

Now in its 4th year, ROUS ILAND is an established insider’s secret offering its unique service to over 4,000 members.
