Occupying the sensational former Bank of New York building on Leadenhall Street in the City of London, Prism oozes the glamour and power of the 1920s financial world.
This excellent Brasserie offers wonderful ambience and great cuisine in a landmark building at the heart of the City.
The long, narrow Lower Ground Floor Bar, set amid the vaults below the main room, is both intimate and fun, serving a selection of bar food including the delicious “little picks”. The feel of this room is in stark contrast to the vast ceiling height and airy space of the main room with its classic columns, which by night turns into a sophisticated Lounge Cocktail Bar and Brasserie.
In the conservatory, just off the main bar, you can enjoy the feeling of al fresco dining, complete with a lawn, climbing plants and lashings of natural daylight. The main room also boasts live jazz four evenings a week.
Head chef Daniel Sherlock’s menu features innovative Brasserie dishes using wonderful seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Offerings from the main a la carte menu range from vast juicy steaks presented on wooden boards to light salads and indulgent desserts.
Prism boasts its own roof garden where the kitchen team grow fresh vegetables including courgettes, salads and an array of herbs all of which are used and featured in the menu.
