Tell us about your background? Professional & personal
I set up Scarlett because having spent over a decade working with and for some of the worlds leading personal and professional coaching organisations (many run by men) I realised that there were many great tools and learns I wanted to share with the world and also that those programmes had certain things missing for me, particularly as a woman.
There seemed to be an over emphasis on the ‘millionaire mind’ and my experience of women, myself included, was that this does not drive me in life. I want to make a difference, be my best version of myself, leave a legacy, inspire others and yes, create a lifestyle that I love – but I am a bit turned off by the chest thumping, get rich yesterday approach I found myself delivering on behalf of others (whilst not getting rich and lining their pockets along the way!)
I also knew that for real, lasting, profound change to happen it’s the little things that make the big difference. Putting one heel in front of the other, daily rituals and habits that support your growth, constantly being in a state of action and things happening because you said they would. Sometimes these big seminar events can, indeed, be life changing, but all too often the knowledge, inspiration and drive wear off over time; I wanted to provide a hand-holding space for women to keep that buzz alive and to develop daily rituals that would be with them forever, not just for Christmas! I basically decided to create the programme and tribe that I had been looking for and failed to find.
I am SO glad that I did! My Scarlett members are the most awe inspiring women I could ever wish to work with and they keep me on a permanent legal high. I love watching them grow and flourish and am constantly moved, touched and inspired by their courage and their commitment to living the lives that they say they want.
On a personal level, the one area of my life that just wasn’t working was in my relationships. I was always clear that I wanted to be a wife and mother and yet had one car crash after the other in that department. I could practically hear my family, friends and my ovaries tutting in despair!
So, finally, on New Years Day last year I left a 1 year relationship as I found myself age 37, childless, and yet again in a relationship that showed no signs of going anywhere. I then created a programme for myself using all of the tools that I know work and set about becoming the kind of woman that would meet and marry her own Mr Right.
It was miraculous to say the least! My soon to be husband, Aaron, found me in less than 1 month of starting!
I also applied the principles with a friend of mine and she got married last month too.
I’ve had a lot of interest in how I made that happen, and so am soon to be releasing a book for single women called How To Attract Mr Right in 90 Days or Less.
I really love helping women to get the lives that they say they want and cannot wait to inspire other women to end the misery of Christmases and holidays spent alone or worse, staying in relationships where they are equally alone but are too afraid to take the leap and have healthy, happy and committed relationships and families.. watch this space!
What is your proudest achievement?
I have won awards, written books, travelled the world and changed thousands of lives but I have to say, it was getting out of my own way, taking myself on once and for all and finding the relationship of my dreams. Our wedding is in 1 month and I already know that it will, hands down, be the best day of my life!
Who is your female inspiration?
I adore Oprah Winfrey as a role model and someone who has contributed so much to the world, especially as she came from such humble beginnings. I have a personal mission to meet her one day and a totally unrealistic dream of her writing the foreword to my book! Anyone that can help please get in touch!!
Tell us a bit about what you do
I run 1 day training events for women that inspire them and put them in touch with their purpose and real life’s goals, from here some of those women come onto a 3 month programme of coaching and mentoring to fulfil on those important life goals. We have regular mastermind groups and I also run 1 month online programmes called A Month of Miracles.
All sorts of amazing and truly miraculous things start to happen, it is fascinating to be part of. In the past month we’ve seen; 2 resignations from crap jobs, 2 new businesses started, 1 national press campaign around surviving breast cancer, a relationship ending that was long overdue to end, thousands of pounds of funds being generated to clear debts and start new ventures and even on a personal level I have been receiving PR and media opportunities that were totally unexpected.
Something magical starts to happen when a group of like minded women are all ‘up to something’ at the same time, and we are surrounded by a group of cheerleaders willing each other to succeed.
What would you like to achieve over the next 12 months?
In the next 12 months I will be growing the Scarlett programme and adding in some collaborative ventures that are really exciting. The first one is on the 15th September and features the TV presenter from 10 years younger, Nicky Hambleton Jones, these will become quarterly events unlike any other I’ve seen or heard of before, and I’m really excited about what the future holds with these.
I am also going to be launching the Attracting Mr Right programme, as there has been such a high demand for it. I would love for it to sell a million copies, be an Amazon number 1 best seller and to also create some online resources so that women from all over the world can take on their own journey to finding Mr Right in the comfort and privacy of their own homes. (Have I mentioned that I love a good, scary, audacious goal?!) really, the driving goal for me here is that I just love the thought of helping women to get the love that they deserve and can easily have. That warms the cockles of my heart!!
On a personal level, we are also hoping to get pregnant in the next 12 months and start our family life together. It’s going to be a busy year!
