Young woman with box of objects in small room

I am a personal lifestyle organiser and private PA. My job is to help super busy people do the things they don’t have time to do.

As you can imagine, I get incredibly busy – helping a wide range of clients better organise their lives.

Here is my collection of little tricks to ease your pain with mess!

1. Emails:

Use colours, rules and even sounds for incoming emails to help organise your inbox. Mark the ones you need to deal with. Unwanted emails: Unsubscribe with 2 clicks rather than just delete, mark spams and reply to emails if just with 2 sentences, then delete.
Diarise an hour a week to detox your inbox so it never gets out of control.

2. Expenses:

Use Freshbooks to organise your expenses and invoices- it’s the best user friendly online bookkeeping software for dummies and even makes your finances fun (well almost!)
You can sync Freshbooks with the MiniBooks app on your iPhone so you can upload your expenses on the bus!

3. Declutter:

On a day when you feel like chucking stuff out, doing it without a second thought will do the magic! Pack it all up in a bag and run to the nearest charity shop. Don’t think, just do it! It only takes few minutes, you’ll feel lighter and have more space. For a bigger de-clutter session send the kids to Legoland, invite your best friend and a professional de-clutterer for brunch and give yourself 4 hours to sort the room you haven’t dared to go in for months. Just think, at the end of the day, your house will have an extra room!

4.    Act

Everything that can be done in less than 3 minutes-do it! Don’t put it on your to do list.
