Kate blog 1[1]This has been a week of trying to get things done with the weather plying havoc with all plans. Today I was at a job in Hampstead clipping and trimming the Buxus hedging and balls we planted last week.  We are still waiting for some stone setts to arrive to complete the paving; they are due to arrive on July 12, fourteen weeks after ordering them!  It is a very good thing that my client is patient.

The garden now looks like a complete outdoor room with chic grey paving, all weather furniture, mirror polished stainless steel panels and beautiful pots from Urbis Design and is a world away from the lumpy sandstone paving and municipal planting that was there only two months ago.

I can’t wait to finish and I am sure my client can’t too – roll on July 12th.
