What happens at a Toastmasters evening?
A Toastmasters evening is made up of a number of ‘speaker’ sections. Members deliver prepared speeches on pre-agreed subjects. The speeches are assessed and evaluated by Toastmasters members based on their content and style of delivery. At the end, feedback is given to the speaker member in a constructive way.
Toastmasters is a fun and sociable evening, and all are welcome! There’s no pressure to join as a member straight away. Just come along and see how it all works.
What is Toastmasters?
Toastmasters international is a world leader in communication and leadership development, with more than 270,000 members in over 13,000 clubs in 116 countries.
